Capsule machine finished 2

Have you ever tried to fill 50 capsules one by one? It takes literally forever!! My husband caught me doing this tedious task and thought of the perfect solution for my dilemma.

Since we had been low on finances, I didn't want to spend any more money for a capsule machine. I had already spent enough on buying organic herbs and spices. Heaven forbid if I spent more money on a new capsule machine

But what was I going to do? I needed a bottle-full of Spirulina capsules and a bottle-full of Turmeric capsules. I didn't have 2 or 3 hours to dedicate for filling capsules.

When my husband saw my frustration, he took off to our bedroom and returned with one of his plastic shell holders. He was so sweet to help me think through this problem. Many times, he thinks "out-of-the-box" instead of getting frustrated.

Once the shell holder is rinsed off, it's ready to take its place as  a repurposed capsule machine - with no added expense - easy peasy!!

Any type of straw can be used to fill the capsules as long as its end is small enough to fit inside them.

Medical tweezers work great for pulling out capsules from the shell holder.

Place the large end of the empty capsules in the shell holder. Once you have done this, you are ready to fill the capsules with your herbs. Use a straw to begin this process. Just give the straw a gentle tap if the powder gets stuck inside. A tap is usually enough to move the powder along.

Once the capsules have been filled, then simply place the ends of the capsules onto your already-filled ones. They are now ready to place in your herb bottles for use. It's as simple as that. It's so easy with no added expense. Plus, it takes out a lot of stress - no more filling capsules one at a time!!! Enjoy!!
